Club Squads

The groups in the club are called squads ie Bronze, Silver, Gold, Development (East District/National Age-group). To move from one squad to the next, the swimmer should meet set criteria.

Squad levels 1 to 3 are progressive squads in which swimmers develop skills and learn how to train effectively. Movement from squad level 1 to squad level 2 encourages the swimmer to attain a higher standard. The swimmer aiming at squad level 3 must attend the available sessions in squad level 2 and be capable of swimming the criteria/sets/times for squad level 3.Squad level 4 is an extension of the level 3 swimmer looking to progress to district/national level.

EYEMOUTH LEISURE CENTRE

Monday Evening.
BRONZE SQUAD 6.00pm until 7.00pm
SILVER SQUAD 6.00pm until 7.00pm
GOLD SQUAD 7.00pm until 8.30pm

Thursday evening
BRONZE SQUAD 6.00 until 6.45
SILVER SQUAD 6.30 until 7.45
GOLD SQUAD 6.30 until 7.45
With extra 1 hours optional coaching for GOLD SQUAD swimmers who meet head coach's fitness and ability criteria.

There are also 3 morning coached sessions available at Eyemouth between 7 and 8 am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (please note the pool is also open to the public at these times)

COSTS & REGISTRATION

All children who use any of our training sessions are required to compete a Club Registration Form & a Code of Conduct Agreement.

An annual membership fee of £10 for each child is payable to Eyemouth & District ASC

PRICING- EYEMOUTH SESSIONS
Swimmers wishing to join Eyemouth Swimming Club are required to pay £16.50 monthly to Borders Sport And Leisure Trust (BSLT), this also includes free entry to public recreational swimming at all BSLT facilities

BERWICK SESSION.
This session can be paid on the night at £2.50 per session or in a block of ten at £20
